Making an Impact

I joined Movement Mortgage as a designer in November 2017, with the goal of changing habits I had developed in freelance and to be part of a team. My first project was to design the company’s 70-page annual, a task that I was more than ready for. It was a large first project but it allowed me to bring my skills from publishing to the new job and be ready for the varying types of projects that Movement provided.

Helping Define a Brand

 

The biggest reason for leaving freelance to join a mortgage company was the quality of their design. Movement has been known in the regional design community as breaking through the barrier of bad design often associated with financial institutions. Instead, they focused on standing out through unique offerings and great design. I had to be a part of that.
